Using up painty Backgrounds and My Handwriting Needs Lots of Practice.
This page started with the green paint and diamond stencil already on the page, I added Fluro yellow paint to the background. (next time I remember to take some Progress Photos, I was having too much fun creating)
I added the Hand drawn Circle Stencil with Dina Wakley Night Paint, added some archival ink with through this stencil too, so it had some lighter and darker shapes to give it depth.
I dug deep in my stamp stash and added some stamping with Archival inks.
The focal point crazy face is from one of my stencils, made into a crazy Face, there is a Facebook Live of me making some, (Linked Below). It was great to have a stash of Premade embellishments and I can just place then on the page and see what looks best. and also makes a quicker page.
I finished with a not so Brilliant Idea, Let's do some hand Lettering, (note to self, your handwriting isn't the greatest Mel, What were you thinking?) Plus my Posca Paint Pens were being Naughty that night.....
It needed some more white, after the focal image, so Ii grabbed one of my Art Mixed Media Heads with Writing and Snipped it into Pieces (don't be afraid to cut embellishments to alter them) and added just some of the little white writing, great way to add a bold white accent to your project.
But the most important reason why I make Art Journal Pages is sitting down and getting messy, I wish I hadn't done the hand lettering, but that page is done I had fun along the way, instead of dwelling its on to the next Page.
Not Every Page Needs to be Art Gallery Worthy.
